Sinn Féin local representative Conor McGuinness has reminded community and sporint groups that Monday 30th is the final deadline to apply for funding under the Community Enhancement Programme.
“The Community Enhancement Programmeseeks to fund projects that exist to improve facilities in communities in disadvantaged areas. The programme offers funding to non-profit groups in order to kick-start or advance their projects.
“Funding can be used for youth clubs, sports or recreation facilities, community amenities, improvements in the public realm, office quipment, project resources, or any number of project elements.
“The deadline for applications is Monday 30th July and more information can be fround on the Community and Sports section of waterfordcouncil.ie.”
