McGuinness welcomes Clár funding for Co. Waterford

Sinn Féin councillor Conor D. McGuinness has welcomed an allocation of almost €150,000 for projects in Co. Waterford.

McGuinness said:

“I am delighted that three projects in Co. Waterford have each received €49,500 under the Clár programme.

“The projects awarded include  Traffic calming measures at Knockanore and footpaths and public lighting in Clashmore and Kilrossanty.

“I want to pay tribute to Knockanore NS, Knockanore Community Group, Clashmore Tidy Towns, Clashmore National School, and the Kirossanty Community Group.

“The applications came on foot of demands from the communities involved who wish to improve safety and access in their respective areas.

“I also want to thank the Council’s Road Department and my colleagues on the Council for their support.”
