Sinn Féin local election candidate Conor D. McGuinness has written to Waterford Council requesting further works to improve sight lines for cars exiting the estate, and to consider additional traffic calming measures close the entrance.

“There is an issue with line of sight when exiting the estate and the straight stretch from the entrance allows cars to pick up speed.

“While the recent installation of speed limit signs is welcome there is a need for more to be more to be done to reduce speed and make the estate even safer for children and families.”
